My Digital Soapbox
Every morning on the way to work I get to hear my wife mutter in disgust as she walks past buildings that hose down their sidewalk to remove the prior day’s dirt.

Apparently, if you’re wearing flip flops, the water kicks up and gets the back of your legs dirty.

So, in my wife’s mind, these buildings are trading a dirty sidewalk for a dirty leg, and the dirty leg is hers.

Of course, I just shake my head and laugh. I wear pants and shoes to work so it doesn’t bother me.

Is the wife crazy or does this sidewalk cleaning piss off a lot of people?
